Underworld 5 – Blood Wars is an upcoming 2017 American action horror film directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. It is the fifth installment in the Underworld film series and the sequel to 2012 film Underworld: Awakening, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene.
The main cast also includes Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Trent Garrett, Lara Pulver, Peter Andersson, Clementine Nicholson, Bradley James, and Charles Dance. Principal photography began on October 19, 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The film is scheduled to be released on January 6, 2017 by Screen Gems and is Foerster’s directing debut.
